CCR Research Part 2

 A secondary approach I can take to make my Creative Critical Reflection is recording an interview. To achieve this, I would need video footage of somebody asking me the four required questions. The interviewer could also ask a few filler questions in between. This would make the interview feel a bit more natural and realistic. I would need to record this interview in a suitable setting, which may be challenging to put together. However, the main focus would be on what is being said, so the setting would just need to be simple. The director I showed for my podcast example did various interviews on her film rendition of Wuthering Heights as well. She did one with the company Picturehouse, in which the interviewer asks various questions about specific aspects of the film. Recreating something like this seems very doable and effective.

When we began the project, we looked at the list of transitions and chose the six that seemed like the most fun to record. These included a freeze frame, cutting on action, flashback, shot/reverse shot, match cut, and fade out. We then went out to record each one and the ideas just came to us as we went. In doing this, we learned the "behind the scenes" of crafting each type of editing technique. After each clip was recorded, we had to edit them. "You are Struggling to Keep up in Dance Class" Photography Project

  Me and my classmate Ava were given the task of choosing a prompt , and then planning, shooting, and editing a photograph to portray this prompt. The prompt we chose was “ y ou are struggling to keep up in dance class.” To respond to this prompt, we planned to take a photo of me doing a dance move poorly , with my dance classmates behind me doing it perfectly .            I do feel that it is a filmmaker's responsibility to  represent  groups of people correctly.  That is u nless they are making a clear statement and  representing  groups unfairly on purpose  to show that it is wrong . This is because movies and shows are often perceived as  an alternate  reality. If viewers see certain groups of people  having improper  represent ation,  whether that is based on their gender, race, or an other  demographic , it will be taken as discrimination or oppression of sorts,  and  rightfully so.    In the recent past, I would say filmmakers have done a n increasingly  better job at  representing   different groups  fairly.
